Bridgemates and EBU Numbers

Players at Bridgemate-enabled clubs identify themselves by
entering a unique number. Depending on the club, these
may be short, club-allocated numbers, EBU numbers, or
either of the two.

Providing for players to use their EBU numbers is ideal for
accommodating visitors: their names are still displayed on
the Bridgemates, and non-members may be added to the
club database as visitors automatically.

Popular scoring programs are able to keep a local copy of
the EBU members database up-to-date automatically.

                  Laws of Duplicate Bridge 2017

The Laws of Duplicate Bridge as updated in 2017 introduced
a number of changes, many of which are relatively minor,
and only need to be considered by the TDs.

Note that there is a series of videos available via the EBU
website, including one which provides an introduction to the
implementation of the laws, and how they affect the more
commonly-encountered scenarios.
